After months of blocking storms, the Ridiculously Resilient Ridge appears to be gone from the west coast (for now), and a series of storms will move into southern Oregon and northern California over the next week. It's a pineapple express event, so there may be some trickiness with the snow levels this weekend, but according to some models there's a potential for 4 feet (or more) of snow at Crater Lake!
This storm could go a long way toward recovering our snowpack deficit. Keep doing your snow dances...
